Children And Birds
Sir, —The type of child who shoots with sticks, stones, or bullets at seagulls is scarcely the one to read the appeal in the correspondence column of “The Press” by “Seagull Lady.” Therefore, may it be asked what is the law on native bird destruction? If information relartive to seagull protection is published, perhaps parents will warn prospective marauders against breaches of the law.—Yours, etc., LAW AND ORDER. August 14, 1962.
