Justices of the Peace.’ FINED £lO Francis William Coster, aged 19. a garage attendant, was fined £lO on a charge of obstructing the footpath in Cathedral square on Friday evening He did not appear REMANDED Douglas Green, aged 37. a workman (Mr M J Glue’ was remanded on bail to August 10 on a charge of assaulting Athol Norman Davey. Thomas Stewart Raye. aged 19. a workman, was remanded in custody until today on a charge of theft of 3s' Id. the property of the Southern Cross Service Station.
Head Injuries.— When two cars collided at the corner of Colombo street and Edgeware road about 12 20 a m yesterday. Barrie Crawford, of 272 Knowles street, suffered head injuries. He was treated at the Christchurch Hospital.
