JURY FAILS TO AGREE
New Trial Ordered A Supreme Court juryfailed to agree after deliberating for four hours yesterday on the case of Neville Brooks Kemp, aged 26, a telephone operator (Mr D. H Stringer). Kemp was charged with indecent assault on a male at New Brighton on May 10 Mr Justice Richmond ordered a new trial, and remanded Kemp to August 13. Bail was renewed. Yesterday h’s Honour stopped the trial after a constable had given evidence which was ruled inadmissible, and a second jury was empanelled.
