Shows For Dutch Community Max Tailleur. a Dutch comedian and singer, will put on two shows for the Dutch community in Christchurch on August 23 and 24. Mr Tailleur runs a night club, the Doofpot, in Amsterdam during the winter (and tours Dutch communities around the world during the summer. He has been described as the Dutch Danny Kaye. After arriving from Australia he will play in Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington before touring the Far East, In Auckland and Wellington he will appear under the auspices of the Dutch clubs but in Christchurch. where there is n.i club. Mr J. Stapel is arranging the shows. During his three-hour performances Mr Tailleur sings, plays the piano, and tells stories. He does a show alone except for a local pianist.
