Comment By Patriarch (Jr Z.P A- Reuter —Copyright) MOSCOW, July 31. The Archbishop of Canterbury (Dr. Michael Ramsey) and the head of the Russian Orthodox Church (Patriarch Alexei) conferred today on church unity. The Archbishop, the first Archbishop of Canterbury to visit Russia, paid a visit to the Russian Patriarch Alexei. The 84-year-old Patriarch said the Anglican Church had advanced more than the Russian Church towards a solution of the problem of unity, but added: ‘‘The Russian Orthodox Church is now ready to solve this question."
