Third Teachers’ College
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 11
Auckland’s third teachers’ college will be opened in February, 1966. Planning is already under way for the college, which will be built on 30 acres of the Government’s 100-acre Tank Farm block at Northcote.
The college will hold 450 students. High priority will be given to the work.
While the college is being built, a new teachers’ training establishment will be opened temporarily in an intermediate school.
