Television Sets
There are now 35,281 licensed television sets in New Zealand, the New Zealand Broadcasting Corporation announced last night. Last week’s 1686 increase in the number of licensed television sets in New Zealand was the highest on record. In Auckland alone there were more than 1000 additional television registrations, bringing the figure in that area to nearly 21,000. In Christchurch the figure increased by 416 to almost 7800. Wellington’s figure increased by 265 to more than 6550 —(P A.)
