More properties were listed in April and May of this year than in the same two months last year by the Multiple Listing Bureau Chinachurch. but fewer sales were made and the average price for each sale was £3OO lower
Latest figures released by the bureau show 239 listings <&gain« 223 last year). 92 sales (114). value of sales £279.325 <£3B4 900) and average price £3037 (£3377). •'May was a month of considerably activity in the the bureau with high listings at 140 and good sales figures of 50. or 35.7 per cent, of listings.” the bureau reports. The best listing-agent sale during the month was £4OOO for a property at Bainton rreet, Papanui. while the best conjunctional sale was of an Ham road property at £5350.
