Hornby Cash Club

The Hornby Cycling Club held its 25-mile championsihp event from Islington to Norswood and return. The senior title went to R. Craig with B Spicer taking the junior title On the outward run the riders had the benefit of a light following wind and took full advantage of it. On the return journey the bunches started to close up. and at Rolleston it seemed that the 2jmin men would reach the front. The leaders were caught at Tempelton and there were 11 riders to contest the final sprint, in which Craig came through to take the decision from N. Woodgate with F. Hooper in third place.
