U.N. Bond For Australia
(N.Z.PA.-Reuter—Copyright) NEW YORK. June 16 The Australian Prime Minister (Mr Menzies) yesterday handed a cheque for 4.000.000 dollars to the United Nations Secretary-General (U Thant). This saves the United Nations from having to borrow to meet its immediate expenses in the Congo and the Middle East. In return Mr Menzies received the eleventh bond of the United Nations 200.000.000 dollar bond issue.
