Case Taken From Car

ROTORUA. June 17

A case containing £235 worth of rolled gold and stainless steel watches was stolen from a locked car parked ip Hinemoa street. Rotorua, some time between 6 p.m. on Saturday and 230 p.m. today.

It is understood that the door handle of the car was broken. The watches were in a specially-designed red leather satchel, the property of Mr A. J. Charlton, sales representative for a Christchurch jewellery firm.

The Rotorua CI B. is investigating.
