WORLD SCOUT JAMBOREE
Greece Chosen As Venue
The eleventh world scout janfboree will be held in Greece next year. The site chosen for the jamboree is Marathon Bay, the scene of a famous battle. It is in the province of Attica, about 40 miles from Athens. Applications are now being called for New Zealand scouts interested in attending. They have to be between the ages of 15 and 18 on August 1 next year, and hold the first-class scout badge The boys will be away four to five months and the cost will be about £450 each.
