Tunnel Road Route
Sir,—The new road 'rom the tunnel to Ferry road appears to be joining the latter at the Bollard site Surely I there is only one logical place for the road to joinopposite Charlesworth atreet, so that traffic going north can go straight through to Linwood avenue. Are we to have enother Blenheim road fiasco, with the new road dead-ending on Ferry road and traffic dog-legging to get to the north? Somers) said: “It has always been understood that a new road will be continued across Ferry road to give an easier run to Linwood avenue. The Ministry of Works has so designed the junction of Ferry road that a roundabout can be completed to give easy travelling. The council hopes to carry the work beyond Ferry road next year so that it will be ready at the time of the tunnel opening ]
