Coaster Hits Object In French Pass
(NZ Press Association) NELSON. June 8 The 313-ton motor vessel Willomee struck a submerged object in French Pass shortly after midnight last night. A distress signal was transmitted as a precaution but when an inspection revealed the ship was not taking water this was cancelled. The ship had no difficulty in reaching Nelson.
