Sir Edmund Herring, in the Supreme Court today ordered that meetings of shareholders and debentureholders of Chevron Sydney, Ltd. be held on or before July 24 to consider a new scheme of arrangement by which the company hopes to solve its financial difficulties. He also made an order restraining T. and G. Nominees Pty., Ltd., trustee for the debenture holders, from taking possession of the company’s main asset, the incomplete multi-million pound Chevron Hilton Hotel in Sydney before August 8.
