Crossing Near School Sought
(Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON. June 7. A request for a pedestrian crossing ’near Briggston School was made in Parliament this afternoon by Mi H J -Walker (Government St. Albans). Mr Walker asked the Minister of Transport (Mr McAlpine) whether he would waive the regulations on traffic volume and approve a school patrol and crossing at a convenient position near the school.
