Press Assn.— Copyright) SYDNEY, May 25 Two young boys were burned to death when fire destroyed their parents' weatherboard house at Balranald, south-western New South Wales, yesterday The boys, Brenden Smith, aged 17 months, and his brother Raymond, aged 2. were asleep in a back room when the fire broke out about 3 a.m.
Their father, Mr Patrick Smith, aged 38, a mechanic, and his wife dashed through the flames and saved two other children, aged five and 11 Firemen had to restrain Mr Smith from going back into the house in an attempt to save the two younger boys He was badly burned on the handr and arms as he tried to force a door into the burning house.
