ORAL POLIO VACCINE
Second Round Of Dosing (from Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON May 22. By next Monday all health districts in New Zealand will have started the second round of Sabin oral poliomyelitis immunisation for nearly 750.000 children This will complete the two doses needed to give each child maximum protection against poliomyelitis Children who missed their first dose will be able to get it when the second round begins, and arrangements will be made for these children to receive their second dose later this year More than 94 per cent of all eligible children have received their first dose of vaccine and health officers are confident the remainder will receive immunisation
