The New Zealand council suspended both players from playing for one month each but as that match had been the last match of the tour and the two players had left the country the council directed that the sentence would be enforced should they ever play in New Zealand again Mr Knowling said that the suspension could be reconsidered if there was an apnea! The one-month suspension would mean that Wilkinson would be unable to play in New Zealand during his team’s tour as they will be in ‘he eountrv for just more ’.han a fortnight
