Demand For Spinach
There is a good demand tor spinach in Christchurch produce markets but supplies have decreased slightly Although most outdoor grown spinach has been cut. a greater quantity of the hothouse variety is on sale. Yesterday it sold in the markets at up to 15s 6d a case of 12 bunches and at 2s a bunch retail.
