Milk Deliveries
Sir, —We read that the Milk Board has decided to educate the consumers in the dangers of leaving milk exposea to sunlight. I would sugges. that this is a typical case of putting the cart before the horse, as the vendors are the worst offenders. We have a covered milk box capable of holding at least 10 quart bottles, and yet daily our milk is left on top of. not in, the box. This, in spite of three notes to our vendor in the last six months requesting him to use the box. appears to be standard practice as a ride around the roads in the mornings will show.—Yours, etc, EDUCATED OF BEXLEY. April 14, 1962.
[Mr C. S. Bowie, secretary of the Christchurch Metropolitan Milk Board, asked that the correspondent supply details to the board's office, when remedial action could be taken.]
