New Rates Struck By Rabbit Board
The Plains Rabbit Board will strike a new rate on Hie three classes of land in its area. This was decided at a recent meeting of the board at Darfield. The shores of Lake Ellesmere which come under water will now be in class B land, and will be rated at 2|d an acre. Fairly highaltitude land about Porter's Pass will be ra’ed at Hd an acre in class A. and good farming land in class C will be rated at 41d an acre. The new rates will apply from April 1. and will be payable on August 14.
