INVERCARGILL, April 20. ' Windvale Lad and Desert Chief appear assured of favouritism for the £l5OO Riverton Cup, main event and feature event on the opening day of the Riverton Racing Club’s Easter carnival tomorrow. Both have come through their final training with everything in- their favour and both will be suited by a track which will be cutting up. The weather was fine today and the forecast is promising.
