“The Press" Special Service DUNEDIN, April 20 A shipment of 22 thoroughbreds and trotters will leave Bluff on Saturday in the Waipori for Sydney. Included are two horses from Wingatui, which have been leased to three Sydney doctors, J. J. McGirr. K Callen and J. McGovern They are Sleek, which was bred by Mr H. G. McLeod, and a yearling half-brother by Castle Donnington to The Era, which was bred by Mr F. Fay.

Wood Stalls For Waterlea

(NZ. Press Association) BLENHEIM. April 10 Wood atalls will be purchased by the Marlborough Racing Club for use on the Waterlea racecourse. The 18 horse atalls and other expenses (including freight) will cost the club about £2500. The stalls are expected to be delivered by October, and will be In use for the club's meeting next April.
