Reports Of Death

Vasily Stalin, the World War II Russian fig«:rtef pHot hero and son of Joseph Stalin died reeent’y of natural causes, according to reliable sources quoted by the British United Press. The agency said there was no confirmation of the reports. Tae Foreign Ministry declined comment and indicated it was unlikely the death would come to its official attention.
Vasily Stalin, a farmer lieutenant-general in the Air Force, was said to have died in the city of Kazan, on the Volga river, and to have beer, buried quietly, wearing the uniform of an Air Force lieutenant-general. He was in his 40’s. It was understood that he had been reduced in rank to major some time after his father’s death nine years ago. said the British United Press. It was understood that Vasily Stalin had been married and was the father of two children, said the British United Press. However, it was thought he had separated from his wife, who was believed to be living in Moscow. A sistar, Svetlana, is also believed to be living in Moscow.
