Forecast:— Canterbury.—Moderate south-westerlies: variable skies; a few scattered showers this morning, mainly about the coast; temperatures cool. Outlook: fine. Marlborough and Nelson.—Moderate southwesterlies predominating; a few light showers, mainly in coastal areas of Marlborough, otherwise fine; moderate temperatures. Outlook: fine. West Coast.—Light to moderate variable winds; cloudy; a few showers at first, but improving to partly cloudy with rather cool temperatures. Outlook: partly cloudy. CHRISTCHURCH READINGS
