Marshland Plunket Sub-branch
Mrs L Hale, the retiring president, was bidden farewell at the annual meeting of the Marshland sub-branch of the Plunket Society. Mrs Hale was a subscriber for 32 years, a committee member for 28 years and president for 25 years On behalf of members. Mrs R Basher, sen., presented Mrs Hale with a small gift in recognition of ner valuable services. Sprays were presented to Mrs Hale and to Mesdames R. Basher, C. Ching. A. Gibbs and S. Watson, al! of whom have served on the committee of the sub-branch for the last 25 years. Officers elected were:— President. Mrs J. Sheppard: vice-presidents. Mesdames R Basher, G Hannan. A. Joyce; secretary. Mrs K. R. Harris; assistant-secretary. Mrs M. Bruin; treasurer. Mrs A. Joyce; auditor. Mr M. Farrant: committee. Mesdames H. Abercrombie. C. Ching S Erickson. M. Farrant. A Gibbs, M. A. Gottermeyer, R Harvey. K Kerr. S. Jackson. R Karst. S. Lawson, E. Osmers, N. Scarlett, F Sanders. S Watson.
