Elderly Man’s Body Found
(N.Z. Prett Association) TE KUTTI. April 17. The body of an elderly recluse found on Friday by pig hunters had to be taken by Mahoenui residents and the police by packhorse through three miles and a half of dense bush to the extremity of the Upper Awakino road. Mahoenui The dead man was Peter Konstantin Nilson, a farmer, living in the State forest area of the Upper Awakino Valley. Mr Nilson died from a shot wound. His rifle was lying beside him.
