The United Nations Secre-tary-General i U Thant) warned yesterday of the "very great risk” of accidental nuclear war resulting from an electronic mishap. In what many observers regarded as his most sombre speech since he took office, U Thant told the United States Committee for the United Nations that, while no sane person could believe that America or Russia would wage nuclear war deliberately, there were good reasons to think that the risk of an unintended war was very great
