Lord Sasanof Amiss
"The Press" Special Service AUCKLAND, April 17. There seems little chance that Lord Sasanof, one of the top-weights, will be able to start in the Easter Handle:.? at Ellerslie on Saturday. Lord Sasanof took charge of his rider when out to exercise on the sand at Takanini this morning and went twice round before he could be stopped. He was lame afterward. The trouble is in a joint of his off foreleg, the one in which he strained a tendon at Awapuni last month. His trainer, F. Smith, expected to have the joint X-rayed today.
