Immigration Expansion
(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH. April 17. Efforts aimed at improving New Zealand’s immigration programme will be continued > by the Associated Chambers of Commerce. This was de- ; cided by the chambers’ annual conference at New Plymouth. Adopting a remit presented by the Hutt Valley Chamber, the conference agreed the executive should be directed “to continue its efforts to urge the Government to adopt an expanded and stable immigration programme with particular reference to skilled immigrants.”
