KINGDOMS OF UGANDA
Federal Status Agreed Upon (N .Z J l . A.-Reuter—Copyrip ht) LONDON, April 15. The Secretary of Stale for the Colonies (Mr Maudling) has agreed that the three kingdoms of Uganda should have Federal status. The three leaders concerned have agreed to call off the .threatened boycott of Federal elections. Several questions on the status of the three areas will b discussed at a conference in London in June.
