Canvassing For Votes (N.Z. Press Assn.— Copyright) SYDNEY. April 1« Canvassers are calling on Chevron Sydney. Ltd., debenture holders following up a letter seeking further votes in favour of an extension of time for the company to meet its overdue interest and capital. At a meeting last week, 52.4 per cent, cf the holders of the total £3.125,000 issue voted in favour and 99 per cent, against an extension. Directors have until April 23 to obtain consents of a further 22.6 per cent, of holders before the trustee for the debenture holders is entitled to put in a receiver or seize the property. The amount overdue is £117.011 of interest and £612.977 of unpaid contractor’s debentures.
