Hello Peter, Conclusion "The Press" Special Service WELLINGTON, April 16. The English-bred stallion. Hello Peter, was destroyed a few days ago at ttte Higbwav Lodge. Greytown. He was 20 Two davs earlier, Conclusion, which stood at the same stud, was found dead in his paddock. A black horse by Blue Peter from Hallow, Hello Peter was foaled in England in 1941 and was imported to New Zealand in 1945 by Mr A. E. Bower, of Auckland. In 13 seasons up to Anri] 7 his stock won £l6B 452 10s from 299 wins and 733 piscines as well as £8494 in Australia.

Most of the progeny of Hello Peter possessed ma-ked ability in winter going. Notable in this respect was Peter Willonyx, which won £15,020. Conclusion was a bay horse bred by Mr J. B. DouglasClifford. at Stonyhurst, in 1945. He was by Finis and was the first foal of Good Passage, a mare by Winning Hit from the fine mare, Fast Passage, which won nine races, including the Auckland Cup and the New Zealand Cup. Conclusion won 10 races and £13,375 for Mr F. J. Twist, of Wellington, including the New Zealand Cup, of 1952, as a seven-year-old.

His other wins included four at Trentiham—the Parliamentary Handicap (twice), and the Racing Club and Summer Handicaps. Conclusion received little patronage at the stud. He sired the winners. Golden Dreamer. Crown Prince. Master, Conclusion, Putara and Trusion.
