£2731 Profit On Ardmore

(A.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 16. The New Zealand International Grand Prix made a profit of £2731 from the final Grand Prix at Ardmore last January. This was an increase of more than £2OOO on the previous year. The report and balancesheet, presented at the annual meeting tonight, showed that about 42,000 persons paid for admission for a total gate of £34,892 This year, for the first time, the organisation made a profit of £650 on its annual motor show. Drivers’ expenses dropped from £ 16,000 last year to under £ll,OOO this year.

A balance of £1035 remains in the driver to Europe fund, which will be carried forward to next year Accumulated funds at £16,000 are £2OOO higher than last year.
