DISPUTE AT BURNSIDE
Consideration By F.O.L. (N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, April 16. The national executive of the Federation of Labour is expected to consider the week-old Burnside dispute at a special meeting tomorrow At the request of Mr F. P. Walsh, the president of the federation, the dispute was handed over to the national executive after the meeting of the Otago Trades Council last Thursday night. Today a meeting of the executive of the Otago Trades Council discussed the dispute and sent recommendations to the federation executive.
New Zealand Refrigerating Company permanent staff today continued killing stock for the local trade.
