Soucbak-Caspcr Tying On 207 <NZ. Press Assn.—Copyright) GREENSBORO (North Carolina) April 14 The defending champion. M. Sojchak. and W. Casper, were joint leaders on 207 after 54 holes in the Greater Greensboro open tournament today. They went into tomorrow’s final round two strokes ahead of S Snead and J. Steelsmith. Souchak had a one-under-par 70 and Casper a 68. Snead, who lias won the tournament seven times, moved up with the day’s test round of 67. R. J. Charles, of New Zealand, who had a par 71 today, was on 215. sharing fourteenth place with six others, including the Master’s champion. A. Palmer. Three Australians were among qualifiers for the final round, with totals of 224 and better. B. Crampton was on 212. W. Dunk 214. and K Nagle 216.
