Harriers Boys’ Brigade Events
The annual crose-country race of the Canterbury battalion of the Boys' Brigade was held on Saturday morning at Hagley Park. A record 75 boys took part in this event. The results were:— Senior.—B. Dyer 1. A. Turner 2. B. Haines 3. Winning company; 19th Christchurch Company. St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church. Intermediate—G. Wilson 1. P. Gallagher 2. P. Alien 3. Winning compnay: 9th Christchurch Company. St. Peter's Anglican Church. Junior.—S. Dench 1, T. Wall 2. M. Burford 3. Winning company: 2nd Christchurch Company, St. Martin's Anglican Church. The fastest time for the race was gained by B Dyer, of the Ist Rangiora Company of tha Hangiora Methodist and Presbyterian Churches, llmln 41aec.
