No. 75 SQUADRON COMMANDER

Sq.Ld. Stanley-Hunt Appointed (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 15. The withdrawal of No. 75 Squadron from Singapore and its subsequent reorganisation to take over the bomber, operational conversion unit at Ohokea has led to a number of changed appointments for Royal New Zealand Air Force officers. Squadron Leader H. G Moss, who commanded No. 75 Squadron during its last year in Malaya, has been appointed officer commanding the Central Area Office, which has its headquarters in Wellington. No. 75 Squadron will now be commanded by Squadron Leader B. Stanley-Hunt, who has recently been promoted from flight lieutenant. He served with the squadron in in Malaya, returning to NewZealand with it.

Flight Lieutenant C. E. B Papps, who was No. 75 Squadron's administration officer in Singapore, has also been promoted to squadron leader and appointed senior secretarial officer at the Royal New Zealand Air Force station, Whenuapai. No. 14 (Canberra) Squadron, which is based at Ohakea. will be commanded by Squadron Leader S. Mclntyre. of Wellington. He was recently promoted from flight lieutenant.

He takes over the squadron from. Squadron Leader M, F. McD. Palmer, who has been appointed bomber operations staff officer at R.N.Z.A.F. headquarters. Wellington. ~
