Sir.—What with one thing and another Mr Nordmeyer does not seem to be very up-to-date in his facts. He is reported as saying Christchurch is not one of the parts of New Zealand where the building industry is overcommft.ted; but Christchurch residents who want any building or carpentry other than new house-building attended to seem to have to get on to the end of a pretty long waiting list. 1* that “over-committed” or just “over - extended"?— Yours, etc. ON THE SIDELINES.
