WELLINGTON. April 13. More babies were born in New Zealand last year than ever before, Mrs H. J. Ryburn. Dominion president of. the Plunket Society, told ’he. biennial meeting of the society's Dominion council. She was speaking of the greatly increased demand for district Plunket nurses. The council considered ways and means of recruiting more trained nurses to its service.
