Bonus Of Two For Three

(N.Z: Press Association) AUCKLAND. April 13. Directors of Tattersfield. Ltd., Auckland maftress and carpet manufacturer, propose a two-for-3 bonus issue from pre-1957 profits. The issue is subject to the consent of the Commissioner of Taxes. It will lift paid capital by £llO.OOO to £275.000 —all in ordinary £1 shares. Reserves were shown in the balance-sheet at September 19 as £203,478.

Meat Paekers Shares Listed (JV.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. April 13. The ordinary stock units and preference shares of Meat Packers (New Zealand) Ltd., meat wholesalers, processors and exporters, have been officially listed by toe Stock Ex hange Association of New Zealand. Authorised capital is £350,000 in 1.200.000 ordinary 5s units and 50.000 £1 redeemable preference shares of 5 per cent, participating to 7 per cent. Paid capital is £165.710 in 600.000 ordinary 5s units and 15.710 £1 redeemable preference Shares. Business Personal Mr T. H. Mitchell has been appointed a director of the Prudential Building and Investment Society of Canterbury to fill the vacancy caused by tlhe death of Mr H. Manhire.

Mr G. M. S. Webster, officer in charge of economic research for the Bank of New Zealand has been appointed a sub-inspector.
