Olympic Helmsmen In Opposition

SYDNEY. April 13. Ten of New Zealand's leading centre-board helmsmen are among the 31 entries received for the inter-Domlnion Finn class yachting series on Svdney Harbour at Easter.
Three Olympians are included in the Dominion’s entry; R Sobers who was placed well in Finns at Naples, P. Mander, gold medallist in the Sharpie class at the 1956 Olympics, and R J Watson, formerly of the Flying Dut< -man class
The series will begin w-tth two nvitation races on Easter Saturday and Sunday and the fiveteat championship will be sailed on week-days (April 23-27> to tvold Interference with other classes
The New Zealanders will meet ■.trong opposition from leading Australian helmsmen. These include Queenland's brilliant R Tenyns. who narrowly missed a bronze medal at the' last Olympics.
Weather Prevents Oystering
(NX. Press Association) INVERCARGILL. April 13. Oysters will be off the menu for the week-end. Because of rough weather in Foveaux Strait the Bluff oyster fleet has not been out to Vie beds since Tuesday The catch for Mariah -was down by almost 7000 sacks compared with the figures for last year.
