Labour Attacks On Cost
(X.Z.P.A.-Rcuter— Copi/riphr > LONDON. April 11. Labour politicians yesterday again attacked the Government for spending £65 000 lon Princess Margaret's new home at Kenslfigion Palace A Scots member. Mr W- - Hamilton, asked 13
questions in the House ' ■Commons about the cost of Royalty, most of them about Princess Margaret.
In answer to one question he was told that the cost of the boiler house and bmler equipment in the Princess's apartments at the palace was being paid for by the Princess herself.
She was also paying for the kitchen equipment and wmt of the decorations. Mr Hamilton also asked for details on expenditure on
Buckingham Palace. W.ndx r Castle. St. James' Palace, and Hampton Court. The Minister of Works (Lord John Hope) gave him the details of the £65.000 to be spent on Princess Margaret's apartment at Kensington Palace.
