ABDUCTION OF CHILD
Accused Remanded For Treatment
(N Z Press Association) AUCKLAND. March 12.
A girl appeared in the Magistrate’s Court at Auckland today who last week admitted unlawfully taking a three-month-old child with intent to deprive the parents of its custody. Mr L. G. H. Sinclair. SM., remanded the girl for one month for sentence. Mr E. T. Pleasants, for the accused, said she volunteered to go. to Oakley Hospital for psychiatric treatment. Bail and interim suppression of the accused’s name were continued.
