Lone Sailor At Rikitea
( N.Z Press Association) NELSON, March 7. Cabled advice has been received in Takaka that toe single-handed sailor. Major A Hayter, has arrived at Rikitea, on the island of Mangareva, in his 22ft yacht Valkyr. Mangareva is situated about 200 miles south of Tahiti. The cablegram stated that he noped to arrive in New Zealand about toe end of April at the conclusion of his voyage from England.
