fNXJ’A.-Reuter—Copyrigrtt) BRUSSELS, March 6 The Common Market Council of Ministers today failed to agree on a 10 per cent, speed-up in internal tariff cuts, according to sources close to the council The subject will be discussed again at a council meeting on March 21, the sources said.
Dominion Monarch.—There were 180 guests at a special luncheon on the Dominion Monarch in Wellington yesterday to commemorate this last voyage to New Zealand for the 23-year-old liner. The ship will leave on March 15 for a Japanese shipbreaking yard by way of Southampton and the Seattle International Fair.—(P.A.)
