TAUBMANS YEAR
Profit, Dividend Reduced (N.Z. Press Association) SYDNEY, March 5. Taubmans Industries, Ltdearned a group net profit of £285,305 in the year to December 31, compared with £345.003 in the previous period. This is a drop of 17.3 per cent. The result shows an earning rate of 12.2 per cent, to average capital employed. The profit is after tax provision of £177.545 and depreciation of £231,540. Paid capital of the company is steady at £2,446,071. Last year the company paid a 12per cent, dividend which required £293.259.
For the 1961 year, dividend has been reduced to 10 per cent., requiring £234,607,
