Sarona in the Invercargill Cup and Rembrandt in the Southland Challenge Stakes paid £24 2s 6d for £ 1 on the second day of the Invercargill Trotting Club's twilight meeting on Saturday. THie meeting was held in warm but overcast weather, with light rain during the afternoon. It did not affect the track, which provided firm footing. True Flight's mile and a quarter in 2min 40 2-ssec broke the track record There was a large attendance. The totalisator on Saturday handled £37.894, compared with £32.877 on the second day of the 1961 meeting, an increase of £4971 ss.
