Nelson Beats Marlborough
(N.Z. Press Association) BLENHEIM, March 4. Nelson beat Marlborough by an innings and 181 runs—and needed only two of the three scheduled days—in the Newman Shield cricket match which finished at Horton Park, Blenheim, at the tea break on Saturday. Scores were: Marlborough 119 and 153. Nelson 453.
The Nelson spin attack was the deciding factor, as it had been on Friday in Marlborough’s first innings.
